The Township of Alfred and Plantagenet is seeking your input on the Treadwell Park vision and the construction of a new playground.
The park is designed to offer a welcoming space for outdoor recreation and educational experiences where visitors of all ages can learn about the importance of conservation and the protection of natural habitats. Developed in 2022 through public consultation, the park vision includes a pedestrian trail, a restoration area for pollinators and monarch butterflies, the reconstruction of the basketball court, and a disc golf area.
Which play structure best meets the needs of residents and aligns with the park’s vision? Two options are presented in the document titled “Treadwell Park Vision” in the Documents section. All proposed playgrounds have similar budgets.
Please review the documents section before submitting your feedback to explore the park vision and proposed play structures. The administration will take feedback until March 6th 2026.
